2. She's not going to run for governor. She had it handed to her on a platter x years ago...
and didn't want it or take it.

4. I'd love to see Jerry or Gavin upend Feinstein for the Dem gov nom if she
does decide to run.

I know polling right now favors her for that nom if she wants it. I hope if she does make the run one of the others defeats her. IMO she has earned a rich obscurity.

13. 'Supported Matt Gonzalez over Newsom but would pick Newsom over Feinstein
in the gubernatorial race.

Prefer Brown to both.

Begrudgingly, I would have to vote for Gavin Newsom in that showdown.

Or maybe this would be one of those "I'm not going to cast a vote for anyone" times.

22. Until DF's term is up, don't expect her to give you an answer!
And who knows, maybe they are friends in spite of it all.

If Ruth Bader-Ginsburg can be a friend of Scalia (or if I can be a friend of
Richard Viguerie, for Pete's sake! Talk about the political Prince of Darkness!),
then anything is possible. Washington is one strange town.

27. There is a difference, of course, but look at Bader-Ginsburg and Scalia
They have to be at each other's throats on court, and go to the opera together afterwards.

Although--if I had to work with Richard Viguerie, well, as well as we get along, I think
one of us would have committed homicide on the other with a week if we worked together!

And when it comes to our Governor, I think we can do better than DiFi.

Who should replace her? Fuck, any real Democrat would be an improvement in that seat.
