Conservatives contradict themselves when they criticize Henrietta Hughes

Conservatives always say that government social welfare programs are wasteful, inefficient and ineffective. Private charities and donations, they say, are better suited to help the disadvantaged.

Fine.

That is exactly the kind of help Henrietta Hughes received. She received help from the private charity of the wife of a state legislator. She did not receive a house from the taxpayers.

And yet they still piss and moan and complain.
