3. They're just continuing to do what they've always done well |
|
1) Obstructing legislation that might have some level of positive impact, and 2) Voting in lockstep as a party.

6. I assume President Obama will keep reaching out and he should (to a |
|
certain extent). There will be other votes and if Republicans keep up their rottenness, perhaps the message will start getting through to their devoted 30%.
Wake up Republican poor. Observe your representatives. Observe their childish and juvenile and destructive path.

7. Just like the New Deal not a single republican & man were they wrong..... |
|
Edited on Fri Feb-13-09 03:01 PM by GreenTea
Regressive republicans only want to give money to corporations (corporate welfare). Subsidies, tax cuts & bailouts!
No one can name a single solitary thing any republican has done to help the workers in the last forty years?
You can't because the republican party and the corporations are one in the same.
However, anyone can name dozens of republican bills designed to weaken workers rights & safety.

9. the fact that it is every one of them. and not one who voted with the bill |
|
makes me think this is a conspiracy. the republicans, from what I am seeing, are closing ranks to vote unanimously against the bill. This makes me sick. They are probably banking on the fact that results won't be noticeable until after 2010, and they are going to do everything they can to ensure that they can get more seats in the house. I hope they have just screwed themselves to the wall. they are playing politics with their constituents lives. and i hope it bites them in the ass.
