Jet crash lands at London City airport

LONDON (AP) — London firefighters say a passenger jet has crash-landed on the runway at London's City Airport.

The London Fire Brigade said Friday all 67 passengers were evacuated safely. Two people have been taken to hospital.

A statement on London City Airport's Web site says the airport runway is now closed. The airport is based in southeast London and is mainly used for domestic and European flights.
