Sherry Johnston's drug trial has been postponed until May.

The interesting thing about this article is that she's now represented by Anchorage defense lawyer Rex Butler who doesn't come cheap. Earlier she couldn't afford an attorney and was represented by the Office of Public Advocacy. I wonder who's picking up the tab.

1. LEVI
Levi was in court to support his mom today (kudos to Levi). Did anyone ask him where his invisible son, Tripp is? NO reported sightings of this baby, even though Bristol "gave birth" 7 weeks ago.

2. I was kind of proud of Levi, too, for showing up to support his mom.
And you are correct about Tripp -- no one has seen the alleged baby, no MySpace pictures or anything. It is rather curious, I think.

3. Well...safe to say Palin isn't paying the bill...
The new attorney has been very publically critical of Palin and her administration (google their names, he is no Palin fan)
This could get interesting if there is any chance of dirt about the Palins coming out during the trial.

“Blacks don’t have the levels of access to the governor and state commissioners as with past administrations,” said attorney Rex Butler, an Alaska resident since 1983. “It seems the posture of (Palin’s) administration with Blacks is: Don’t need them—don’t worry about them.”

6. I agree, it would be VERY safe to say
that the Palins aren't paying for this. I would never have assumed that Rex Butler was a Palin fan or even a Republican. He's a good -- and smart -- man. I would be more likely to think that a Palin enemy has picked this up.

4. Once she gets past the trial
I'm hoping she runs for Governor. A meth-addled woman would be a big improvement over the ditz y'all are stuck with now.
