How do you think Speaker Pelosi has done since Obama took office? |
|
(I will ask the same thing about Leader Harry after the Senate vote)
I **really** want her to succeed. I **really** want to feel good about her being Speaker. But she has given me so much about which to feel disappointed.
Passing this bill was really quite remarkable when you stop to think about it. A truly massive spending bill passed in a few scant days.
How do you feel about her now?

I wish she had been like this before Obama was President. Maybe Bush had the goods on her?

that if she could impose some party unity, it could have been even better, sooner.

7. All but 7 Democrats voted for the bill. |
|
Can't be much more unified than that.

3. To be honest I don't see where she has improved at all, she's just flowing with the tide |
|
She isn't in the lead of anything, she's just there when things are getting done. If not despite her, as in the past, but not with any particular thing I've seen her do to make anything go better.

progressive, outspoken and a relentless Dem partisan against the greedy, lying, slimy republicans....who will try and sabotage everything & anything the Dems try to do, lie about it, and then use their republican owned corporate media to pound the lie in over & over again.

6. While much of the buzz has been on the Senate in the Recovery Act, we |
|
wouldn't have one at all - or one that fell far shorter of the goal - without the House. I think in this she and the House have done a good job.
