BofA Investment Services just sent me a letter to tell me >>>
>>> they're in fine shape financially and I shouldn't worry.

Should I worry that some knucklehead there thought it would be a great idea to spend money sending everyone pointless letters?

3. Get out of BofA investment services
Not because BofA may become insolvent, but because they are ripoff artists that will sock you with fees you wouldnt pay with another investment company.

They charge inactivity fees that can eat up a good portion of your principle.

5. Get out of BofA ANYTHING...
...... because among a group of assholes (banks in general) they are one of the smelliest.

8. I wound up there when they bought out LaSalle, which I was pretty happy with.
I'm just so tired of banks around Chicago getting bought up or merging and changing names-- makes my head spin. I feel like if I move money around this week there'll just be another merger next week and it will wind up back where it started.

4. Wow.
I've been hounded by an unknown caller all week and finally picked up the phone to put a stop to it--damned if it wasn't some dude from India with a survey to see how happy I was with BoA. I refused to cooperate, and gave him the Reader's Digest answer: They haven't hurt me personally--yet--but I'm pretty disgusted with their actions lately and offshoring a stupid survey isn't likely to improve my opinion.

How is it supposed to make us feel good about trusting them with our financial matters when they're this dumb about where to put their own PR dollars?

7. Do not trust them with your money.
Move your investments to a real investment firm. I hear Vanguard is pretty good. Even if Vanguard was bad, still isn't as bad as the one you mentioned.

9. Rose Colored Glasses
Rose Colored Glasses by John Conlee

I don't know why I keep on believin' you need me,
When you've proved so many times that it ain't true,
And I can't find one good reason for stayin',
Maybe my leaving would be the best for you,

But these rose colored glasses, that I'm looking through
Show ooo.......nly the beauty, cause they hide all the truth,

And they let me hold on to the good times, the good lines,
The ones I used to hear when I held you,
And they keep me from feeling so cheated, defeated,
When reflections in your eyes show me a fool

But these rose colored glasses, that I'm looking through
Show ooo.......nly the beauty, cause they hide all the truth,
So I just keep on hopin', believin that maybe,
By countin the many times that I've tried,
You'll believe me when I say I love you and

I'll lay these rose colored glasses aside,
But these rose colored glasses, that I'm looking through
Show ooo.......nly the beauty, cause they hide all the truth,
