CNBC Conducts Year’s Stupidest Interview with Roubini and Taleb

I first read about CNBC's offensive interview of Nuriel Roubini and Nassim Taleb a couple days ago, and finally saw it over at Calculated Risk. It has to be seen to be believed.

Given an opportunity to hear from two economic experts who got it right, who have invaluable insights, the clowns at CNBC kept asking for stock tips.

What's even more astonishing is that the CNBC anchor explains at the beginning that some of the most powerful people in the world had waited hours in line at Davos to hear Roubini and Taleb speak, but CNBC's narcissists still couldn't grasp that their listeners might actually want to listen to Roubini and Taleb, instead of the clowns who kept hogging the mikes.

TPM ran this earlier this week, but it deserves more attention.

3. I saw that. The CNBC people looked truly stupid. They were actually asking for stock tips.
They wanted advice on the best investment strategy for someone trying to save for his child's college education—from distinguished economists who were trying to explain to them the macroeconomics of a worldwide financial meltdown! You can hear one of them, the woman, I think, complaining in the background that they didn't answer the question. Disrespectful self-important morons.
