Public relations group steps down because of death threats, its chief says

LOS ANGELES - The public relations group that represented octuplets mother Nadya Suleman is stepping down because of death threats, its president said Saturday.

Joann Killeen also said the mother now has an agent: Wes Yoder, the same man who arranged book and music deals for the McCaughey septuplets a decade ago and publicity for controversial pastor Rick Warren.

The Killeen Furtney Group was ending its free representation after receiving at least 100 graphic e-mailed threats and swarms of nasty voicemails that went to the Los Angeles agency and even to some of its other clients, Killeen said.

she's received all that many (even allowing for the ever-present and abundant assholes of the world). And yes, even one is too many. It was the confluence of Octomom and Rick Warren's publicist that made my hair stand on end, even if that combination is somehow weirdly inevitable.

Yeah, they could have gotten the odd death threat - but they probably got calls from their own clients, bitching about how they were trotting out ms. thang, and not spending enough time on them.

I figured there would be some nasty comments posted on that site, they had a "comments" link along with the "donation" link, what did they expect? People are p*ssed off, people are being laid off jobs, have no money, no income, cut back on food etc., while this woman is having litters of kids is getting more money a month than most working people bring home, if they are lucky enough to have a job in the first place. I believe in helping people with medicaid, foodstamps and assistance, but this woman knew she couldn't afford to take care of those kids, but she went out and had invitro anyway.
