I wanna do some screen-shots (Print Screen) of those with a lot of hearts like babylonsister(sic) and so on

and MINE too - yeah I have an ego too . .

Then drove it down the coast to SD where I detailed it and sold it

VeeDubs(did I really SAY that?) were hot back then

gas shortage and all . . .

I loved my 14 months in San Dee, living in places like Chula Vista, Bonita, Mission Valley and so on

AND

That MILE OF CARS? - National City Boulevard I think it was?

was actually THREE miles of dealerships and used car lots

a mechanic's dream - yeah that's how I made my living down there

fixin' cars out of the trunk of my own

When I left California in February of 1980 - I drove up with a girl from SanDee

As we approached my brothers house near North Bay Ontario (which was cold and snow-covered much as it is right now)

she noticed all the cars that were plugged into the houses along the road

she nudged me and says - "Dave! - I thought you guys were BEHIND us in technology! . . "

I say - "what are you talking about - ?"

Diane says - "well . .

LOOK AT ALL THE ELECTRIC CARS Y'ALL GOT UP HERE!!"

I laughed so hard I just about went off the road,

then explained to her that if we don't plug them in (engine/block heaters) when it is this cold then they probably won't start . .
