I'm channel surfing, and silly me, I come across Fox News |
|
Edited on Sat Feb-14-09 10:42 PM by MrScorpio
They're showing an utterly delusional "news" program called, "Trillion With A T"
They mentioned how the Stimulus Package passed in the US House of Reps without any Republican votes. OK
But somehow FOX envisions this as a "defeat" for Pres. Barack Obama, since he "failed" to achieve "bi-partisan" support.
What the fuck is this? "Defeat is victory" for the Republicans?
Who the Hell are the idiot writers for this station.
Somebody needs to point out that victory is victory. The Democrats don't need the Republicans to pass ANYTHING in the House.
And by voting no in a solid block where they are defeated, the Republicans are NOTHING except irrelevant!
IR-REL-E-VANT! I know that this is a big word for the FOX writers, but if the Republicans keep getting beat down to defeat from now on, they better damn well learn it.

1. well, as you often read on here when anyone says they saw faux noise, you usually see this comment |
|
Watching Faux Noise Channel was your first mistake. Yes, they'll twist everything this president does - and sadly, they're viewers who lovvvve America to suffer, will cheer them on. Delusional bastards.

10 billion per month in Iraq, for 6 plus years equals 720 billion tax dollars.

5. Bingo. Their outrage is so selective. |
|
Dead humans? No big deal. Even if it costs trillions. Government spending for the people? Outrageous!
They're nuts.

6. Make it twice or thrice that amount |
|
That 720 billion is just the running tab so far. What about the war expenses incurred but not yet paid? Things like munitions, vehicles, etc. that have been used up and must be replaced. The costs of providing lifelong medical care for maimed and disabled veterans. The list goes on and on, and the real costs so far are more like 1.5 to 2 trillion.

3. They dwell in that imaginary parallel universe |
|
They need to keep making stuff up so as to keep themselves from opening their veins. If they stop and coherently think about what they have done, what they represent, what they stand for, they could not go on.
And, when someone sane, like you, drops into that imaginary place, you get all in a lather because you're sane.
See how that works?
Welcome back. Don't you EVER go to that awful place again, dammit!!!

7. They Over Emphasize Their Importance |
|
They were waiting for the groveling from Obama and company and never got it. Now they are trying to salvage what's left of their warped pride.
