Would it surprise you to learn that the Bush military is as corrupt as the Bush Crime Family? |

1. Bribery. Nothing less than bribery, because nothing is done |
|
legally. Pizza boxes full of cash for payoffs.

4. It's hard to blame them, in a way |
|
Every day they see Halliburton/KBR/Blackwater types make 10x the money plus all they can steal for doing the same jobs they do or, worse, putting their asses on the line to protect the profiteers. Against that kind of lawlessness how bad can bribery look?

7. IMO it's wrong to claim the military is corrupt when a few personnel are corrupt. Most organizations |
|
have a corrupt person or two but that does not mean the organization is corrupt.
I'm confident one or two officers in today's military are corrupt but that does not mean Obama's military is corrupt.

This is the risk the corrupt ones take in their greed. They don't give a damn if it harms the reputation of the organization...Their was no "patriotism" here, there was no dedication to the higher principles here...there was no code of ethics here

9. If one studies military history of US wars and peacetime, one will find continuing acts of |
|
corruption, e.g. Abraham Lincoln's administration and family were not immune.

The bush crime family has been placing and promoting their criminal cronies and co-conspirators in the military for decades now. It would be fair to say that the criminals are firmly in charge of the DoD and have been for many years. Obama can get rid of the obvious ones at the top but he is going to be unable to completely purge the military of bush cronies and sycophants. To do so would require a purging remeniscient of Stalins purges of the Red Army in the 1930's.(I'm not saying they would suffer the same fate as Stalins purged did but the damage to the military would be similar.)Can you imagine the howls if he tried?
The criminals are not the only serious problem in the military. There are also the right wing religous crazies to deal with.Once again, installed by bushco.
When the leadership of an organization is crazy/criminal then the goals and actions of the organization are going to be criminal.Otherwise they would not have spent the time, money and effort to take the organization over.

13. Are you saying the buck stops with the Commander in Chief, that the CIC is responsible for all the |
|
good and evil things done by every person in the military?
If so beware because those words could haunt you four years from now.

19. The military is corrupt = water is wet. |
|
Not the ordinary cannon-fodder, but the bosses in the Pentagon, their political lackeys, and the "defense" industry make the Mafia look like archetypes of honest businessmen.
