1. Wasn't it him who admitted to getting daily e-mails from GOP high-ups during the election?
I'm almost positive it was.

God I loathe him. I can't even bear to watch MTP anymore.

7. Do you know how do they calculate who is watching what
If I watch MTP on my comcast cable, does comcast report the numbers? I would like to tank that right wing tool also.

11. If you have digital cable, they know what that set is tuned to. What I
don't know is if they whether the set is on or off.

15. It really is this simple - this and shoot the network an e-mail telling they you refuse to watch
He won't last long, oh, and shoot an e-mail to the advertisers who support him telling them you will not watch him and you are disappointed in them for supporting him. Like I said, he won't last long.

"GOP talking points" are easily refuted.

4. I think he's doing a good job this AM. He's asking the questions that have been raised
over the last week or so, and that's his job.

8. That's MTP and the NBC franchise. Which is why you shouldn't get too comfy watching MSNBC.
David Gregory is also the guy who stuck it to Bush, and made him a laughingstock in France. "Ewww, que bueno!!! Ah kin speak a foreign language TEW!!!" or words to that effect...

Don't expect "party loyalty" from people in the news media. Don't expect them to be great, or even good. They are what they are, people trying to make a living.

Contact them...and say WHAT? Waaah, I don't like the fact that Gregory took the opposing view to a guest on his show? Please. That's what he is SUPPOSED to do. I used to get annoyed when Russert would coddle the GOP, and NOT take the opposing view. But he's dead now, so there's no worrying about him anymore.

If Axelrod can RESPOND to the points, he smacks them down effectively. The worst thing is a QUESTION LEFT UNANSWERED. And the GOP have been circulating "questions" for all too long.

9. I actually thought the questions were fair, and I usually can't stand him.
I don't think they were "gotcha" questions, but "gotcha" questions have been a part of Meet the Press since Tim Russert, so it's no surprise.

Axelrod did a good job.

12. I find adversarial questions fair
Edited on Sun Feb-15-09 10:35 AM by ErinBerin84
But it always seems like his questions to Repubs are um, less than adversarial. At least lately (on MTP).

17. I was listening to him while I was doing something else
He's very combative. Thinks he's a hardnose journalist. Axelrod handled him well.
