QVC: SEE Elisabeth Hasselbeck. BE Elisabeth Hasselbeck. Polished and playful, with panache.

Elisabeth Hasselbeck has been busy outside of "The View" as a clothing designer for QVC. The shopping network brought some of their collections to New York Fashion Week, among them the one to which she contributes.

Hasselbeck, along with husband Tim and kids Grace and Taylor, sat in the front row of the show.

QVC sells a line of "Elisabeth Hasselbeck for Dialogue" clothing. The description on QVC's website of the line says the following:

About the Brand

Speak directly to your fashion sense with Dialogue® -- the new language of style. Specializing in wools, knits, silks, and other fine fabrics, this QVC-exclusive brand offers tasteful, chic separates. Striking the perfect balance between polished and playful, Dialogue incorporates the latest color palettes with panache.

2. I know!!
When I use to watch The View (the year Rosie was on), her main role (other than to repeat what she heard on Hannity & Colmes) was to be the "fashion host." Elizabeth would always host the fashion segments. It makes no sense because she usually looks horrible. One time, she wore this neon blue adult onesie with a head band made of the same material. It was awful. I'm not sure who is going to buy her stuff on QVC.

10. I don't agree with her politics, but saying she looks awful is ridiculous!
I have always admired her artsy, interesting clothing choices on "The View." I didn't see her on QVC, but the blouse in the pic above looks gorgeous! You honestly don't like the way that looks?

11. No, I don't like how she looks
I don't think she's fashionable. If you saw the neon blue onesie I was talking about, I think you would agree it was, indeed, awful. You really think that blouse is "gorgeous?" That shirt may not be awful but it's nothing special. You could find something just as good, if not better, at Kohls. I would surprised if she makes it as a fashion designer.

3. Well, her husband got cut from the team, maybe he's not doing so well in the sports analysis
department. Someone's gotta make some money, she's got a third little rightwing anklebiter on the way.

I get the feeling that THE VIEW might be on its downhill slide. Barbara Walters has more than proved her point. Hasselbeck is probably trying to find other sources of income early and often.

5. QVC preys on lonely old people. My mother hadn't been dead a month before they...

sold her debt to a collection agency who hassled me terribly. For $400.

The clothes look like more polyester shlock for women.

7. I've watched CVC in snippets, on rare occasions, and...
...I hear exactly what you're saying.

They get older women on the phone and say "What did you buy today" and then the woman will go off on a soliloquy about how she bought a certain kind of sandal because everything else she's tried made her feet hurt and the whole time the Stepford host of the show is smiling and nodding and punctuating every third sentence from the woman with "uh-hu" or "oh, that's great," then the woman will say something about how she's followed the host for years and she only keeps getting better and better and the host smiles and says "Oh, thank you SO Much, we're glad to have you here..."

It's like some kind of reverse telemarketing script. The women call in and the host is ready for them, just like a spider sitting back in its web.

8. Write a letter to QVC Corporate. Please.
If you don't care to see Elisabeth Hasselbeck hawking her fashions, the best thing to do is to let QVC know. In writing. Via snail mail.

If they get several hundred letters re: Ms. Hasselbeck's political comments on another channel, it's hard for me to believe that they would think it was a good decision for the QVC brand, especially right now.

Mike George, President and CEO
QVC
1200 Wilson Drive - Studio Park
West Chester, PA 19380

I'll be writing my letter this afternoon. Let's just say I'll be polite, but the thing should be sent in an asbestos envelope.

9. I don't think she's actually designing anything...
What, no brown shirts?
No utilitarian uniform type clothing?
