Tuiia, Texas: A small town's search for justice

I rarely miss Independent Lens on PBS. This week's film is still haunting me. It is the story of a small town in Texas that used federal drug task force money and hired a dishonest narc.

46 people were arrested. Some were sentenced to 99 years.

I had heard this story before but still was riveted by this film. It is a very important story and a graphic example of our War on Drugs on steroids. Catch the film if you can.

2. Why is it that I know I will go through the ceiling if I watch this?

Having only lived in TX for 2 years, I am yet to understand its sometimes draconian laws.
Although, I don't think TX is alone in the effort of states to fill the prison system. I will watch this....thanks for posting.
