The Worst Congress Ever by Matt Taibbi (for Rolling Stone)

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics/story/12055360/cover_story_time_to_go_inside_the_worst_congress_ever

If you have never read this article, then now's the time. That's why I just laugh when the Rethugs whine about how badly they are treated. They deserve sooooooooooooo much more crap on their heads than they will ever get.

1. I read John Dean's Broken Government
and your link. I hope they continue to obstruct. The Rushican numbers will soon look Hooverish.

By the way it is time for Democrats to state publicly that the Party's name is Democratic Party.

2. And he is "President Obama" !!!!!!!!!!
It's time the MSM and everybody says that too!!!

I think they will continue to obstruct because they don't know how to do anything else. They will convince themselves that their base is really HUGH! They have already convinced themselves that the economy will right itself or that it isn't that bad.

They can't even hear the tumbrels rolling their way!!

4. I agree
If they don't know the size of their base after November, they will never know. Fugg all Rushicans.
May they eat Savagely and continue to pig out on 'Hammity' while sniffing Bill Kristol meth.

5. Every time I hear "bipartisanship",

I think about that article in RS, and my hair starts to catch on fire. I don't think people realize how awful it was. I know the Dems aren't saints, but the Rethugs took governing and made a whole different definition.
I don't know how some Dems survived. I'm surprised Maxine Waters didn't maim somebody.

6. And the hacks on M$Greedia even employ the criminals
and welcome them as guests. Most of them are complicit in the crimes of Bushco. Fugg all of them - Rushicans and their enablers. Bring back the state prisons - space will be needed soon and very soon.

7. I think they should send all the prisoners
from Angola in LA to other places, and house the miscreants there. Eff minimum security.
Madoff should be first.

8. Thanks for posting!
I agree...they are getting a lot more input than they gave Democrats in 2000-2006. This is a great article to explain why the Republican Party (aka Organized Crime Syndicate) will be spending many, many years in the wilderness.

14. Bipartisanship is one thing, but pacification of the obstructionist Republicans is quite another
Working together with individuals from an opposing party for the good of the whole country is an endeavor that deserves applause.

Giving in to obstructionist demands from Republicans only hurts everyone (hurting President Obama politically is the Republican objective) and benefits no one.

If we allow the Republicans any influence in our legislation, the will get their foot in the door and never back off. If we let them into the legislative process right now, they will nit-pick to death everything we are trying to do.

15. read this Raw Story article.
Graham needs some e-mails coming his way, I already fired one off to him regarding his comment.

http://rawstory.com/news/2008/Graham_complains_about_partisanship_The_country_0215.html

this comment shows you how out of touch the repigs are

During a panel discussion on ABC's This Week, Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-NY) insisted that the Senate had been happy to accept Republican amendments to the stimulus plan. Sen. Lindsay Graham (R-SC), however, responded sourly, "If this is going to be bipartisanship, the country's screwed."

oh, Senator the country has been screwed for 8 years due to your Party!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
