V-Day has never bothered me, but for some reason I've had a really bad time this year. Probably a combination of newly empty nest and the fact my dog just died. I telecommute (graveyard), never get out, and feel pretty invisible these days. The fact that someone was selfless enough to seek out the neglected posters here really helps take the edge off the whole popularity contest aspect.
