GOP Lawyers Org Issues Conspiracy Email Claiming 'Desperate' Franken is 'Stealing U.S. Senate Seat'

RNLA Issues Fact-Free Fund-Raising Letter Claiming 'Desperate' Franken is 'Stealing U.S. Senate Seat'
Republican National Lawyers Association Says Goodbye to Any Credibility They May Have Once Had...

If the Republican National Lawyers Association (RNLA) ever had any actual legitimacy, self-respect, or credibility as a professional organization -- and I think they used to have all three -- they have now, officially, thrown any last pretense of any of that down the drain, and have come out of the closet as hard-right, conspiracy theory-based, propagandist loons.

On the day that presumptive Senator-elect Al Franken (D) won a huge victory during former Senator Norm Coleman's (R) election contest in Minnesota, the RNLA issued an hysterical email with the subject line: "Al Franken Loses Legal Battle, He Is Very Desperate."

See below for the embarrassing email that the once-respectable-now-whack-job RNLA sent out via their equally looney-toons "media arm" partners at HumanEvents.com this past week, in hopes of raising funds to "Stop Al Franken From Stealing The Election"...

FULL STORY, HIGH-LARIOUS RNLA EMAIL:

4. This would be the RNLA that had Mark F. "Thor" Hearne
as a member the one that helped to produce A.C.V.R.?

F***ing A! Please.

6. That's the one, (Kudos for the memory Bot!)
Yup. That's them. Thor was their keynote speaker, even as he was running the "non-partisan" ACVR :-)

The Rove speech I referred to in the full article is also the one in which he thanked Thor Hearne by name. He was the only one that Rove mentioned by name. Didn't have space to get that aspect into the article, so thanks for reminding everyone!

Glad to know all those years over here haven't been in vein! :-)

Bob "HAVA" Ney & Thor Hearne all the while as the OSU's College of Law
gave cover to that farce.

5. They are pulling out all stops to keep Senate numbers
where they are now.

They are clearly very afraid of having to contend with a Democratic Senate majority.

9. Greaseweasel Norm is NOT going back to the Senate
The three-judge panel just smacked him down big time on a crucial motion. I don't think he can appeal to the SCOTUS, because it is a matter of Minnesota, not federal, law, but he can appeal to our state SC. This dumb asshole simply refuses to recognize the obvious: Al won the election.

15. Here's where you can apply the GOP hypocrisy axiom
which states that whatever the GOP accuses the dems of doing is actually what they're doing themselves.

So the statement "Desperate Franken is Stealing U.S. Senate Seat" translates into "Desperate Coleman is trying to steal U.S. Senate Seat".

See how easy it is to decode GOP bullcrap?

P.S. On Election Night Coleman was up by 725 votes and was also winning after the canvassing. Now Franken claims a lead --- but even Democratic election officials admitted at trial the recount was incomplete and not competently conducted.
