MEXICO CITY, Mexico (CNN) — The Mexican navy confiscated 7 tons of cocaine being transported on a fishing vessel in international waters in the Pacific Ocean, the navy secretary said Sunday.

According to Navy Secretary Francisco Saynez, the fishing boat “Olaf” was intercepted over the weekend by an ocean-going patrol in an operation coordinated with the U.S. Coast Guard. Five crew members aboard the ship were arrested and are under the jurisdiction of Mexican authorities.
