Jacob Vo snaps to.

His white gloved hands press the sides of his uniform, chin up, eyes front, black shiny shoes neatly touching. When he salutes, you can tell he means it.

Never mind that he's just 2.

Jacob, the nephew of Tech. Sgt. Neil Ballecer, has become the unofficial mascot of the Total Force Blue Eagle Honor Guard, headquartered at March Air Reserve Base in Riverside, Calif.
