I can't get to Randi's message board, I'm directed to NovaM

So, with all the speculation as to where Randi is, I'm going to her message board daily. I was there yesterday and then today, I can't. Any Randi news that I may have missed?

2. She hasn't been on the air in almost two weeks with no word from her

Just the excuse from NovaM that there are technical difficulties.

She's had therandirhodesshow.com forever and then poof, it's gone?

To all of Randi's listeners;

You are all correct - I have not had the option to disclose what has been happening between Randi and Nova M...

You see, it's in her contract that she has total control, but, after Wednesday night, I want you all to know that Nova M has done everything we can to get her back on the air.

All this is her choice; if she wants to tell you all what the issue is, then I hope she does, but I can't according to her contract rules.

But I can tell you this I have wanted her back on the air. She's an amazing talent and needs to be heard.

6. Rough Times For Radio...

Looks like NovaM isn't long for the radio world. It's a shame as these folks really put a lot of sweat and their own money in making this thing go. The economy is about to take another victim.

Looks like Randi took the closest thing these days to a "sure thing"...a semi-secure job with benefits. Generally when a break-up like this happens its due to some financial break-down, and I suspect that the collapse of the radio economy is at the cause. It doesn't bode well for AAR either.

Randi's going back to her old Palm Beach station, but there's no sure thing there as its owned by Cheap Channel and that company is trying to avoid its own financial collapse. She may be back "on the beach" in a few months. Times are rough all over.
