Its just after the fact union busting. Like the airlines before, GM will shed health benefits and any pension obligations it can drop from retirees. That will be their "restructuring." Douchehammers!

but assuming they file for bankruptcy, I think they will survive as GM...although a much smaller version. They would use bankruptcy to dump unions, pensions, brands, and dealers. I think it's in the best interest of the country (particularly my state) for the government to continue helping them to try avoid bankruptcy.
