7. I read that interview yesterday. |
|
It kind of sounded like Pelosi was trying to justify some of the ridiculous people she met. And she was using a lot of nonsense right-wing talking points, like people on the coasts all love Obama and couldn't possibly know what people in Middle America thinking. She was also calling Obama supporters cultists. Real nice.

4. It's like they all live in a parallel universe |

It was actually fascinating to watch because you could see when the economy started tanking they started getting scared and more deluded.
I'd like it if Pelosi would do a follow up now that's it's clear Obama isn't Hitler or the anitchrist. :eyes:

5. Could have been called "Faces of Freepers". |

Hard to watch, primarily because she just lets them rant their hate or their craziness. But in the end, I think any rational viewer would just end up shaking his or her head. Exposing these people for what they are is important, and Pelosi allows them to do all by themselves.

..My wife called, "Come in here! You've got to see what these people are saying!"
She confirmed my suspicion that it was the Pelosi show and I declined. "I don't need to," I said. "I hear it every time I leave the house."
"But it's horrible, they're saying Obama is the Anti-Christ and Muslim," she explained.
"Honey, that's exactly the same stuff you and I come home saying we hear at work and from family, what we read in the paper," I said. 'Why do we need to watch to know it's there? It's part of our everyday world."
