WTF is Rove doing on Today Show? |
|
Whining about the stimulus and now blaming the current fiscal debacle on President Obama not voting for something in 2005.

2. The Today Show has KKKarl Rove and Bristol Palin on. |
|
Bristol Palin will also be on GMA. WTF??? I am not going to watch either of them. Why is there nothing on television that we can watch? It is all filled with Republicans and their talking points. I wish a rich progressive would invest in a new cable news channel that we could enjoy. I get so sick of turning the channel and getting pissed off because they are slanting everything against Obama.

birth control although she can't say that considering the mother she has.
edit: Upon reflexction who knows? Maybe she does regret it. Although I doubt it. I mean, sex and the human race. Hell, sex and teenagers. Not the worst thing that the can do by any means. They just need someone to help them not end up like Bristol.

6. The Beltway Bubble Balance Dance... |
|
The corporate media lives in its own village...totally tone deaf to what goes on outside their bubble, and they don't care. They've developed an incestuous 24/7 world of gossip and social climbing that leaks into their "reporting". They see access and headlines as more important than facts or investigation...personality vs. substance and spin over fact. We just witness their little world.
The game here is to create controversy...draw emotions and ratings. It's pissing people off or throwing out red meat to get attention. Rove plays this game as good as anyone. He knows how to bait and use the medium as a distraction. He also knows the corporate media just can't get over him...they still feel his power and in their game that perception is what matters.
The only thing I want to hear about Rove is Eric Holder saying he won't support the last regime's claim of immunity for Rove and his criminal pals.

I switched to GMA and watched Paul Krugman instead. I had the same reaction as everyone else on this thread. That putrid SOB is not allowed in my house ever. Especially not during breakfast.

15. And when you e-mail, be polite |

You might also mention why they weren't asking Rove about pertinent matters, like his role in the Scooter Libby leak, or the John Yoo torture memos, or the politicization of Justice Department appointments, or violations of the Hatch Act by other administration agencies.

But it's useful to remind the media chuckleheads that we the people haven't forgotten the crimes of the Bush administration. And the media complicity in furthering those crimes.
