As were all 4 of my siblings.

My mother was kind of born into being a union labor progressive.

Dad swing votes. We have railed on him for letting this fall too far right by voting this way out of perceived fairness. He woke up and voted for Obama.

Society 'made' me oppressed... so I guess I go with "made". It's all a technicality though because I went to school and learned things. Clearly I couldn't be a Republican.

where I would never have called myself a liberal. It took several years and a lot of reading for me to realize where my political compass really pointed.
