Time for another round of: How Bad Will It Get?!?!?
If I had the budget I would have made the "How Bad Will It Get?!?!?" in a dripping blood font and had the screen go all wavy while playing eerie 1950s sci-fi music in the background. Ehh, whatever.

So, how bad is it gonna get? Am I gonna have to brush up on my hobo cryptographs, because I have no problem becoming a hobo, jumping rails, bindle sacks, skid row. Is it gonna be all Mad Max and I'm gonna have to wrestle a decomposing turnip from a compost pile from my pet dog who ends up getting shot with a crossbow? No where near as bad as these two scenarios but still pretty rough for a period of up to 10 years? Somewhere between The Great depression and Mad Max?

What? What's it gonna be? Looking for your opinions, whims, informed judgments, etc. I don't care if you are a graduate of the Wharton School of Business or you flunked high school Econ I. What do you think?

1. There is something about a Mad Max future I find strangely appealing.
Been playing to much Fallout 3 I'm afraid.

Whatever the future holds I just hope there are no zombies.

2. Dude - we're all gonna be cannibals
And we're going to eat the slowest people first

Then, we will turn our scraps into tents, paint our faces with the blood of our conquests, and file our teeth down to points.

Yeah!

5. Great Depression is very very credible.
I rate the probability of having Tina Turner for your mayor of Barter-Town as high as 10% over the next century.

If we succeed in knee-capping the ocean food chain and the oceans go anoxic, we might just possibly all die in a mass-extinction event large enough to be obvious in the fossil record for the next billion years.

I surely hate it when people say "never." These things have all happened before.
