Love, death and foreclosure
 President Obama needs to hurry...This is happening to folks all over.

Raymond Vargas needed money
to pay home health-care costs
for his late wife, Ophelia.

"CERRITOS, Calif. - Questions linger here, as ripe and nagging as the odor that once wafted over this former dairy capital: Who is trying to seize the home of Ray Vargas, child of the Great Depression, D-Day veteran and loving husband who just wanted to do right by his dying wife? And are they entitled to it?

In bankruptcy court documents, the party attempting to foreclose is identified as Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems Inc., or MERS, a small Vienna, Va.-based company employed by lenders to streamline the resale of mortgage loans and servicing rights. In that role, MERS claims an interest in tens of millions of U.S. home loans and the legal right to foreclose on those in default.

But MERS never gave Vargas a loan. It never collected money from him or recorded his payments. It had no ability to modify his loan.

<snip>

“No such unidentified parties are permitted in a motion before the court,” wrote Judge Samuel L. Bufford. Bufford’s October ruling kept the foreclosure on hold and opened the door for Vargas to sue MERS in an action aimed at clearing his home of the $826,549 in debt he says is the result of fraud, forgery and abuse of process..."

1. One could only hope to have a little peace of mind at the end of your days.
Without health care there is no peace of mind, just suffering. This country strictly 3rd world.

3. It also brings up the fact that some elderly people may decide to terminate their loved ones life
Just think about that. Think about how expensive it is for caring for someone who has sever medical conditions. I wouldn't surprise me if this becomes a viable option for some people.

Then think about what happened to this Vargas. He was only trying to give his loving wife the best care he could provide and the Vultures swooped down on him and started picking on his bones. He didn't even know what they were doing.

Something needs to be done about these Vultures preying on the vulnerable.

7. I have no doubt we are moving in the direction of euthanasia
for anyone over a certain age who gets sick.

2. Vultures, picking over the bones
This seems to be happening all over the country. I think these "loans" should be null and void. What they are doing so CRIMINAL.

Don't give Debt Solutions a second thought on helping you, it appears they will treat you unkindly and take you for what they think you are worth. They used to be Monta Vista Mortgage, a now-defunct Santa Ana, Calif. They forged Vargas on their paperwork. This company is run by Martha Lozano, here's how she thinks Lozano said many homeowners in foreclosure “now want to blame us for everything that is happening to them.” But she defended the option ARMs sold to Vargas and others, saying, “You sell what the lender is advertising.”

Asked if she would have sold such a loan to her father, Lozano quickly replied, “No way!”

Maybe these people should have their homes taken away from them. What's good for the goose, is very good for the gander.

:kick: & RRRRRRRRR

4. Sadly if the vultures have an "in" with Geithner
They will see that they get a nice amount from some BailOut Bill. You cannot after all, expect the "financial experts" to suffer - they are SO needed to get us out of this current crisis, goes the thinking in the insider Washington DC circles (Is my sarcasm button necessary?)

5. The Vultures still have a huge Food Source to devour
Geithner IS one of them. He will protect them from having to go hungry. Plenty more food sources to go around.

11. That's how the Vultures think of us, Yum Yum Yummy..... PPPeople
I just know how they think.

I've seen my share of my rethug BIL talking his dear sweet liberal dad into giving him a "LENDING HAND" he even got him to mortgage our house we were renting to open a security company during the 80's, which he never finished paying back.:grr: FIL left us the house in his will, after they paid it off. We sold their house and MIL is living with SIL, and of course there is another long long story behind the selling of the house, but I won't go into that, so I'll share you the horror story.

And as long as it IS other people's Money ALL the better.

6. A couple years ago, a Pinellas County (FL) judge dismissed every MERS foreclosure case.
I read the transcript of the hearing between the judge and the two lawyers. The MERS lawyer was just hilariously inept.

MERS has no claim whatsoever in any loan. MERS is simply a registry of loans. Any case filed with the case style "Mortgage Electronic Registration Systems, Inc as nominee for (lender) should be dismissed or set aside until such time as the properly stamped Note is located and all Assignments are recorded.

Fucking vultures.

Money, get away.

I'm all right jack keep your hands off of my stack.
Money, its a hit.
Don't give me that do goody good bullshit.
I'm in the high-fidelity first class traveling set
And I think I need a lear jet.

Money, its a crime.

I was just telling him, he couldnt get into number 2. he was asking
Why he wasn't coming up on freely, after I was yelling and
Screaming and telling him why he wasn't coming up on freely.
It came as a heavy blow, but we sorted the matter out

Flying Lizards: Money (That's What I Want)

The best things in life are free
But you can give them to the birds and bees
I want money

(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)

You love gives me such a thrill
But your love won't pay my bills
I want money

(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)

Money don't get everything it's true
But what it don't get I can't use
I want money

(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
That's what I want
(That's what I want)
