2. Hell no. Time to let them go.
Time to ignore sunk costs (last round of bailouts) and save the taxpayer money. The government does not need to be in the business of deciding what companies to let live and let die.

Or... Get rid of top management and start anew. Management is obviously no good at what they do....

5. I don't know at this point.
They're laying off 47,000 people, too. Going to cut their brands in half, which will result in dealerships closing, putting more people out of work.

It seems to me if they're going to take taxpayer money, they ought to commit to keeping jobs intact. I mean, they're taking money from the same people who they're laying off. Seems a bit screwed up to me. :shrug:

They just threw thousands more out of work. We could use them to build trains and other infrastructure.
