Is the Air Force Academy still a christian-right training school? |
|
You may recall reports during the last half decade of our Air Force Academy having been turned into little more than a training school (or, as they would say in the east Madras) for religious fanatics. I wonder if this has been looked into? Oh, and I have this question too, which is prompted by a similar concern for the continued division of state and church, does the Office of Faith Based Initiatives have an independent Inspector General?

Chaplain Charlie will tell you about how the free world will conquer Communism with the aid of God and a few Marines! God has a hard-on for Marines because we kill everything we see! He plays His games, we play ours! To show our appreciation for so much power, we keep heaven packed with fresh souls! God was here before the Marine Corps! So you can give your heart to Jesus, but your ass belongs to the Corps! Do you ladies understand?"

2. While a few officers at the AFA did overstep their authority re Christian evangelism it has never |
|
been as you assert "little more than a training school (or, as they would say in the east Madras) for religious fanatics."
Making such statements disparages the overwhelming majority of AFA graduates who served and continue to serve these United States with honor and distinction under all Commanders in Chief.

Does Focus on the Family security personnel still use the academy firing range for qualification?

5. That has nothing to do with the OP unsupported assertion the AFA is a "training school . . . for |
|
religious fanatics".
You do know of course that qualified civilian clubs can use any firing range constructed with government funds as long as it does not interfere with the operation of the government agency and subject to rules prescribed by the government agency -- don't you?
