Just Curious - I Just Read Where Merkel (Germany) Will Allow Takeover Of Private Banks....... |
|
is this economic crisis we're in - that is spreading across the world - a plan for New World Order? I guess my tinfoil hat is on too tight this a.m.

2. This is about government takeover of failing banks in EXCHANGE for bailout money |
|
No bank is forced to come under government control, but nationalization may be a price for bailout. I don't see anything wrong with that; but I'm a mixed-economy socialist (Merkel is a moderate conservative - still to the left of the current American system as a whole). Generally, I think if the taxpayers are funding something, why shouldn't they have some ownership of it?
I worry far more about the power that unregulated banks and business organizations currently have over our lives than some 'New World Order' fears. To even think about that issue in this context strikes me as ascribing too much validity to right-libertarianism: one of the last things we need in the current economic climate.

3. Are you asking if this crisis is somehow a planned event to justify a NWO? |
|
I would find that hard to believe.
That would mean that some group has the ability to topple markets and banks and yet keep it all from spiraling out of their control. It would be like knocking over a house of cards and controlling where every card falls (or at least where most of them fall).
