19. Indeed
Maybe if she'd stayed as she was everyone would've been more endeared to her.

I don't think she could have anymore anyway - her navel would form a Kirk Douglas chin dimple and she'd have a beard.

20. I know it's bad of us, but LOL!!!!
The other day Imus, of all people, said something nice about Hillary and dissed Nancy in the process. He said that, unlike Pelosi, Hillary was aging gracefully and looked good. He thought that Nancy had overdone her surgeries. This is the same Imus who called Hillary "Satan" for years. He now likes her, go figure.

4. Condi Rice told her about this great shoe store, and Nancy thought there's no time
like the present to go check it out. After all, there's nothing going on here that warrants her attention, right?

Plus, with the economy in the shitter, prices are really low on all those expensive designer leather goods.

Nancy has her priorities straight, no doubt about it. :eyes:

13. Thanks for this.
I had joked with myself about a meeting with the Pope. I am sure that she will assure him that we are all on the same page. I will never forget * and Pickles at Pope John Paul's funeral with Pickles in her sun glasses and * kissing her full on the mouth during the ceremony. I knew then that the new Pope-mister would be on the side of the dark! So sad. Hope Nance gets what she is looking for.

24. The Pope wanted to set her straight on who the boss of Catholic Dogma is.....
Pelosi had said something about her knowledge of church law and how it relates to a woman's right to choose you know what.....

http://www.speroforum.com/site/article.asp?id=15970

On the August 24 “Meet the Press” show on NBC-TV, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D) was asked to comment on when life begins. Democrat Pelosi said “I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time. And what I know is, over the centuries, the doctors of the Church have not been able to make that definition.” Responding, moderator Tom Brokaw told her that the Catholic Church “feels very strongly” that life begins at conception. Pelosi said, “I understand. And this is like maybe 50 years or something like that. So again, over the history of the Church, this is an issue of controversy.”

William Donahue of Catholics United for the Faith reponded in a statement “Here is what the Catechism of the Catholic Church says: ‘Human life must be respected and protected absolutely from the moment of conception.’ It also says, ‘Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable.’ Looks like Pelosi didn’t study the subject long enough. But not to worry: We are sending her a copy of Catholicism for Dummies today (the Catechism is like maybe a bit advanced).

25. Obviously most Catholics in the U.S. do not follow church teachings exactly
Edited on Wed Feb-18-09 03:46 PM by SemiCharmedQuark
Because birth rates among Catholics are not higher than birth rates among non-Catholics. So the pope can either keep on blustering and stomping and pretending that his opinion matters to every single Catholic or he can excommunicate most of the Catholics in the U.S. It isn't in his interest to do the latter. So he must do his blustering.

26. Why Do You Care?
Well she is catholic. Most catholics would love to have an audience with the pope. Am catholic but I can't stand this pope. I wouldn't kiss his ring or his ass. I just don't trust him. When he tells us we all are to materialistic yet he wears prada shoes himself. What a joke.
