With 130,000 DUers, are we going to do anything about the racist cartoon by the NY Post? |
|
Or are we all just going to write it off?
Any coordinated action? Who is in charge? What would be the most effective for us to do?

What the hell happened to fuck Sean's head up so bad. He wouldn't have done something like this when he was a teenager with incredible talent and promise. Sure, his stuff back then had a wicked sense of humor, but it also had a humanity to it. Now, it's just bitter, angry, pedestrian and dumb shit.
Maybe he needs to get out of the city and move home. Get it back in his head that there is a world beyond the NYC entrance to the Lincoln Tunnel.

to get it as much play as possible on the MSM. People need to be reminded as much as possible who Fox's Murdoch and the republican party really are.
That's the best course of action, imo.

7. Shut 'em down! After all, speech or cartoons we don't like are not protected by the 1st Amendment! |
|
Or are they? It's easy to trumpet 1st Amendment rights for things with which we agree, but for things which disgust and anger us it is not so clear. That's when it should be. I am betting that as a Constitutional lawyer that President Obama would agree.

I've blasted muslims and others about getting upset over stupid cartoons, I'm not about to become a hypocrite and engage in the same behavior I despise.
How about getting involved over some real issue that has an actual impact?
