A reminder of the politicization under Bush (Dept of Energy still glowing in Bush glory)
Just like life under Hitler all avenues of information out of our government over the last 8 years HAD to be attributed to the dictator Bush. The US Department of Energy was certainly no exception.

I have been interested in photovoltaic solar technology (solar cells) for decades now. I have heard about great advances in the field, but thought this morning I would look around to see if the prices have come down at all.

Wouldn't you know it on an information page is a description of the state of the art in photovoltaic efficiency and the at the end attributes the advance to Chimp-in-charge.

The document "New World Record Achieved in Solar Cell Technology
New Solar Cell Breaks the “40 Percent Efficient” Sunlight-to-Electricity Barrier" found at
http://www.energy.gov/news/4503.htm is supposed to give an academic overview of the state of the art in photovoltaic efficiency, but the moles just can't help but close the article praising the dictator. Look at the bottom.

In truth, in 8 years solar cell advancement has been held to a minimum since it would compete with oil. But the "Dept of Information" (ala Brazil) turns the inaction into a tribute to the BushCo. Advances in process that asshole can't even spell is laid at his feet like he had put on a white jacket and read the meters himself.
