Holy Shite - Rushicans have gone mad
have you seen that ad begging for money for Coleman?
Just saw it on Tweety (Barnacle). McConnell, Boehner, Steele and Alexander. These criminals never give up.

Here's the ad

5. I only got as far as Thune! I couldn't take anymore than that! Having
lived through periods of Coleman's political life in MN, I don't know how anyone can advocate for him. That was pit-tee-ful!

8. No, it's not insane
Imagine you were on the edge of a cliff. As long as you twiddle your thumbs, you don't fall off the cliff. You'd twiddle your thumbs as long as you could. Same thing with Norm. As long as he can keep his challenge alive, even though it's pretty much failed, he doesn't "officially" lose the election.

Now, lawyers aren't cheap. But Norm also knows that there are plenty of deep pockets all over the country who relish the thought of keeping Al Franken sitting in the Senate waiting room, in limbo. So, even though Coleman doesn't have a chance of prevailing, he keeps his challenge on life support, solicits money from his pals and other folks who like nothing better than to monkey wrench things, and Minnesota is deprived of one of its Senators. Which is a bad thing, but for Coleman and his buddies, the fact that once Minnesota gets its second Senator, it will be a Democrat, so it's a good thing.

There's no penalty for Coleman to keep throwing sand in the gears. He's not subject to any sanction except disapproval in the court of public opinion, and like any good Republican, he doesn't care what the public thinks. There's no downside to refusing to give up. As soon as he finally, irrevocably loses and exhausts his legal challenges, he falls of the cliff into political oblivion. Meanwhile, Norm Coleman keeps twiddling his thumbs.

11. It's a pretty straight-up appeal . . .
I'm sure they were struggling during the taping to not fall down foaming and start speaking in tongues. Admirable restraint on their parts.

Of course, the notion that this obscenely dilatory process would be stretched out much longer (the image comes to mind of the unfortunate pedestrian who was recently caught under a truck and dragged for nearly 20 miles, leaving police to "retrace the route looking for body parts") is disgusting, as is the speakers maintaining that Coleman is anything but a cheap pol on the take who lost because he's a hateful shit and enough of his constituents figured it out to deny him a second term.

15. This request is so rabid & outrageous, I get the feeling they're wanting money for something more
than just defense funds. Bribing someone in the legal system, maybe? After witnessing 8 years of in-your-face lying & deceit, I wouldn't put anything past them.

Coleman, put your bat suit away -- for good.
