A man who police say murdered his business partner is also the Republican nominee running for Mayor of Corfu. Scott Doll, is now in jail facing murder charges for the death of Joseph E. Benaquist who was found murdered early Tuesday outside his home in Pembroke.

Eyewitness News has confirmed Doll has been running for the Mayoral seat in Corfu-- and his name will likely appear on the March 18th ballot. Election officials say it's too late to remove his name-- that deadline passed weeks ago.
