Is there a word for what GOP governors are doing?
(And I don't mean "hypocricy" or "assholishness")

They were vocally against it (unable to vote either way) but will gladly accept the money.

There has to be a word for it.

If not, I'm sure someone can come up with one.

1. Suicide
Howie Dean is correct. I dare them to refuse the money and raise constituents' taxes.

6. Okay, now we're getting somewhere.
We have to find a phrase that uses the word "Urinary" in it.

Which means we can also use trickle-down as well!

Thank you!

10. I'm still curious as hell about why you would even bother to PM be as to whether or not
Edited on Thu Feb-19-09 08:29 PM by Mike 03
I'd ever been on movie sets before or not.

Sorry, but it's my nature (and also my livelihood) to be curious.

7. Grandstanding is correct because all 51 governors are going to have to pass on some of the money

These five are doing nothing the others aren't going to be doing.

9. Positioning?
Maybe that's too easy.

Stupidity? That's too simplistic.

Futility? Those damn tax and spend libruls forced us to take the money. (Tax and spend is responsible; cutting taxes and continuing to spend is irresponsible (Reagan, Bush).

Pawlenty was trying to save his sorry ass on Hardball tonight.

16. How about "Jindalism"?
sounds sort of like "vandalism", plus Piyush stepped in a similar pile last year over a legislative pay raise.
