In light of the call for a new tea party, why not make it so?

1. I'm not going into that cesspool.
Never have, never will. But the name of their protest gave me my first real laugh of the day.

2. This Ain't New...
These humanoid farts are going back to their old tricks...other than rolling over, begging and fetching. This one's a golden oldie from the 80's...that didn't do much then and will do even less now.

If they really want to be "patriots", instead of throwing the tea overboard, they should just jump themselves. They'll do the country a big favor.

Freepers claim the jokes write themselves. Must be a freeper-secret. Their fears for martial law are arising, yet they had none under Bushco. Stupid freepers. They have nothing to hide, right?

25. They're taking a cue from that clown on CNBC...
Some time during that tantrum he threw over the mortgage bail-out, he was ranting about a "New Boston Tea Party" or something like that. It handed the sheep another silly talking point to latch onto. Barney Frank has been one of their big punching bags in all of this. Something he and Chris Dodd allegedly did is supposedly the cause of the housing crisis, in their minds, anyway.

11. I clicked on both links and I see that they're all excited about
sending tea bags, but I didn't see anything that laid out exactly what they were protesting. One of them with a couple more brain cells than the others seemed to spot the problem, too.

WHAT WE MUST READ CLOSELY is that BEFORE the Tea Party, they held lots of meetings. FIRST the State Meetings, then a March on Washington, AND THEN, THE TEA BAGS.

We need to do this in the correct order. Because it will appear to be "an insurrection" to the current President's Team and will in their minds give them opportunity to place this Great Nation under Martial Law.

I just said he had a couple more brain cells. I didn't say he made any more sense.

21. I'm confused.
The Boston Tea party was a protest against the collusion between a multinational corporation and a predatory government to flood the colony tea market with cheap product to capture the market from local buisnessmen. Freepers have always been in support of that sort of market invasion.

Have the Freepers finally turned against neo-liberalism and facism?

To protest the high cost of beef, people were mailing a pound of hamburger to their congresscritters!

27. They Should Have a rally

Oh I forgot, they tried that before when they had their big pro-war rally in Washington, and they had about 50 people. And that's if you count the speakers they had, like crazy B-1 Bob Dornan. I saw about 20 photos from the rally, and I would say they had about 35 people.

Which is not very good, especially when you have almost 200,000 members.

34. Pendejo (the Marc Maron Show character) beat them to it
Edited on Fri Feb-20-09 06:12 PM by Rob H.
It was a bit Marc Maron did about three and a half years ago where Pendejo called in to tell Marc all about Operation TEABAG (Tactical Engagement And Battle Action Group).

Pendejo and his dog, Stompers, were going to travel across the country to carry it out and he was raving, "We're going to travel all across this great land of ours and we're not stopping until every man, woman, and child has been TEABAGged!" and "Our mission is to TEABAG those in power!"

Marc asked him if he knew what it meant, and Pendejo didn't, so Marc asked him to Google it. There was a short pause, the clattering of a keyboard, another short pause, and then Pendejo yelled, "Oh, my GOD!" and slammed the phone down. It was one of the funniest bits he ever did!

Stupid Freepers--they probably haven't had a single original thought ever.

Edited to add one other thing he said: "The story of TEABAG, Marc, will not be a story for children!!"

"Picture excellent idea. Wish we could get a url for teabagpartyrevolution.com
We could offer pictures to download of tea bags in various ways, one in a cup, one photoshopped in the sea, lake ocean etc all with words declaring taxation without represenation or something to that effect. Keep the site up for a long as necessary—till congress is overwhelmed with the photos.

Teabag picture bump"

All right, which one of us is behind this?
