Do you guys see what the media is doing right now with the hero Rick Santelli?

They are pumping his opinion up like 98% of the world agrees with him. They are actively selling the exact opposite of what people feel.

I don't know if everyone is seeing how incredibly important this is. The media is actively distorting the reality of what if happening by casting a wall street insider as the spokesman for the masses.

MSBNC needs to stop. Where the fuck are Keith and Rachel?

15. When C_SPAN becomes part of the echo chamber, someone very high up is
executing a strategy. We have got to organize to defeat these vermin.

2. Multi-Millionaire Santelli's company TRADES IN REAL ESTATE FUTURES
He's one of the fucking slimeball hypocrites that created this clusterfuck.

"There are more millionaires per square inch on the trading floor of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange than any other place on earth."
That is what CME (Rick's company) likes to brag about.

This sleazeball's personal fortune is in jeopardy, so he's trying to make the remaining 99% of Americans not in his tax bracket look like deadbeats.

He is fucking scum.

3. He Works For GE...What Did You Expect?
Now if this blowhard had spewed this crap on Faux, he'd be on Olbermann's "Worst Persons", but since it was over the networks of General Electric, it was "news"...kinda like a "You Tube" moment. And it's a pile of shit...but it sure made good teevee.

The media can't distort the reality of a person losing a job or a home or seeing others suffer. Most of us know someone who is faced with a dire financial situation and this asshat just pisses us off. He's no hero, he's a selfish, arrogant ass clown who just showed the world how insensitive and arrogant the rich are. If anything he'll become the poster boy for the abuses of the financial world. The scene of the trading floor behind him just pisses people off more.

4. Let me get this straight............Santelli is standing on the TRADING FLOOR and
bitchin' about bailouts? I'm no economist, but I equate trading floor with Wall Street, and I equate Wall Street with bailouts.

But that's just me.

5. As usual, they miss the point
Of course nobody wants to pay their neighbor's mortgage. So will we be doing that?

My house value has dropped enough in the past 18 months to pay my neighbor's mortgage for 8 years.

14. Right. My neighbors house is on fire but he smoked in bed (or maybe not but the Wall Street/
Trading Floor ranters want to act like they all were irresponsible) so let it burn, baby, burn. It will cause a lot of damage to my house too but I don't care because that "loser" deserves it.

So stupid.

9. Yes and I'm really sick of hearing his screeching every time I flip a channel
The mediawhores are working overtime, desperately trying to change the opinion of millions of Americans.

Pit one against the other, divide and conquer and just maybe they can chip away at Obama's popularity.

Fucking scumbags.

10. Top Story on Today; complete with cameo by Brian Williams
Yes, Brian Williams showed up this morning on the Today show to "cohost" along with Matt Lauer to interview this asshole who screamed at the top of his lungs throughout the interview, apparently a member of the "the more I yell, the more it's true" camp.

11. Corporate media propaganda at it's worst and yesterday when the Dow Jones only dropped
seventy some odd points, they focused on what it settled at as being the low record in the past six years, not the fact that it only dropped about seventy points, a pittance compared to previous swings.

16. Yes...
They're doing the same thing they did with the auto company bail-outs. They're piling on the least guilty parties in all of this, while ignoring the real culprits. More divisiveness. More class warfare. More lies and distortions. Nothing new here.

He's about 800 miles west of Wall Street.
