Tex Gov Goodhair Perry said he would accept the $16 billion in stimulus money after all
...but he "reserves the right" to refuse some of it later.

How the fuck do the idiots of my state keep voting for Goodhair, Hackchison, and Corny?

It's bad enough that there are so many Republicans, but does having politicians with more than 2 synapses actively firing not matter to anyone anymore?

Jebus H. Christmas on a popsicle stick.

1. Well, with all the corruption, perhaps Goodhair got 'selected' the same way Bush did.
When all the government machinations are in GOP hands, how hard can it be?

2. Of course he will accept it...and probably attempt to take
credit for any good it does. The hypocrites always do that. Let's not forget to point out that he, and the other hypocrites opposed this bill. Keep their obstruction in the public eye.

6. Why are there no prominent Dems running for Governor in Tx?
It seems there is some momentum for Tx. to go blue again, but where are all the
Dem challengers to key positions?

12. I think it's due to a potential Hutchison challenge of Perry
A strong Democratic candidate might be able to defeat Perry (he only managed 39-percent in a four-way race last time), but would have an uphill battle against Hutchison. The big battle will likely be the primary contest between those two. If Hutchison vacates her Senate seat, however, the Democrats may have an outside shot at that one.

8. There was never any doubt that the Good-Hair hypocrite would take the money.
Will any of the GOP guv scumbags actually end up turning the money down?

Could it be only Alaska that will refuse the money?
Just remember the degree of reality in Palin's "thanks but no thanks" posturing about the Bridge to Nowhere.

he's always full of shit.

and let's make something very clear, it was the Legislature that took the money, not that idiot, he doesn't have the power to say yay or nay on the money. he's nothing more than an empty shirt. He just likes to play act that he has a big dick.
