Holy Shite Johnny Damon can't pay his bills because
of Stanford. Cannot pay his mortgage. He invested with Stanford - you mean all his money?
He must listen to Hannity.
All accounts are frozen because of the run on the banks.
Breaking on MSNBC

3. This is also a guy whose off-season training
consisted of drinking a 6 pack and chasing cars in his neighborhood when he was with the Sox. It's unfortunate but not that surprising.

4. No, it isn't.
Sports figures are easy marks for swindlers. They're under-educated because they can make their best money only when they they're young, and they've been told they're wonderful. Someone who assures them that they can still be rich if an injury ends their career tomorrow? Who is vouched for by friends? They have neither the education nor experience to protect themselves.

6. "Chasing cars"??? That made me laugh outloud. Is he half-dog or something?
Sorry, don't know a thing about baseball, hence why this mental image gave me a laugh!!

5. Unfortunate
But it's not like he doesn't have a steady stream of income from his current contract with the Yankees. Can't he just set up a new account and ask that his paycheck be deposited there instead of where it's going now? I mean, that's what us irresponsible peons would be obliged to do if we got cross-wise with a court or the IRS or someone else with the power to take all our money.

Sorry if I decline to subscribe to the Johnny Damon Personal Relief Fund. And that goes for any other fuckers who leave the Royals.
