1. The media in this country is a joke.
They wouldn't know real news if it crawled up their asses.

It makes me sick to watch and read what passes for journalism these days.

9. I try to watch Squawkbox a bit every day and this is nothing special for them.
Some of the stuff I get day after day:

No one could have predicted this meltdown.

The last thing we need is more regulation in financial markets.

The problem is people who bought houses when they couldn't afford them.

People don't listen to liberal radio because it's boring. They listen to Rush because he's interesting.

And back in March 2003. "The war is going really well and that's great news for President Bush because it's HIS WAR."

10. Most people are too busy trying to stay alive, to notice much
Most do not read the paper, and many get home AFTER the nightly news.. Very few actually watch CNNFOXMSNBC..

we know about it because we pay close attention, but most people are not paying attention at all..
