Pelosi's latest film (Right America) and the faith based initiative |
|
There is a very interesting scene in that film where a McCain volunteer goes to a church soup kitchen and tries to get the people in line to vote for McCain. It didn't work, shock of shocks, but I have to wonder if that church received federal funds for that kitchen and if so, would they have let an Obama worker do that. The faith based initiative is a bad idea for several reasons, Pelosi gives you one on tape.

I don't have HBO and I couldn't find it on iTunes, but I'd like to see it.
Edit: found it on pirate bay, not that I would ever advocate using torrents . . .

3. The ignorance expressed throughout that documentary was just about |
|
as much as I could take. I really almost had to leave the room. I find it troubling that so-o many could only reiterate repuke talking points seemingly without any understanding and worse still, they vote!

4. This is the only film of hers I felt was a good window on its subject |
|
Here she didn't need to challenge these people or present another side since they were so obviously out of sync with reality. This is far better than the Haggart film.

7. I think she learned from the Haggart film just to let these loonies talk more |
|
and further distance themselves from reality. It's plainer this way and she didn't have to antagonize them! Great plan.
