Poll question: How is the Obama administration being portrayed by the GOP-controlled media? |
|
Pick one please and discuss.
There is no "other" choice.

1. If you listen carefully they introduce segments with phrases |
|
such as, Is Obama on the defensive with his stimulus package.

3. Yes, lots of insidious phrases that are intended to cause doubt |
|
and mistrust. Except of course for Faux, which blatantly calls him a socialist or a communist, depending on the host/guest.

6. I remember an article in Nat Geo that was introduced that way (not about Obama though) |
|
In big words on the cover it said "Did Darwin Get it Wrong?"
Then you opened to the article and in an even bigger font, it said "NO."
That was okay for Nat Geo. They know their readership is science-minded, and they don't have those kind of gimmicks all the time. But when you're watching the news and hear about upcoming segments titled something like "Is Obama turning us into a socialist society" on a daily basis, people are just going to take that headline and run with it. Many won't even watch the actual segment, just assume that title says all they need to know.

11. As far as I'm concerned, this is the best we'll see from the GOP-controlled media. |
|
I expect much worse in the future.
