Does anyone know when the $13 extra per pay check goes in to effect? Does it depend on your employer?

3. Well, that's a tad extreme a hope, but $26/mo will help to buy needless stuff like food.
Another DU put up a link to a service that provided a week's worth of food for $30... I hope it remained kicked or pinned at the top or something...

6. Buying a weeks of food for $30 bucks is counter-productive to stimulus.
Its too frugal. We got to blow this cash. Its the only way we will have instant recovery.

I'm spending my $14 dollars on over-priced plastic trinkets, so I can keep the companies booming that employ the trinket makers.

Instant recovery.

12. All this talk about "change"
really just meant chump change. That's what people living paycheck to paycheck are getting. :patriot:

13. You know, it's funny, during the primaries, I said the same thing and got flamed for it.
While I thought I understood what it meant living paycheck to paycheck because it's been the best I could hope for for a couple years, I was shouted down by people who told me that $15 a week really helps people with no money.

Barack Obama as our President, we're still fucked. The fact that he could look any one of his constituents in the eye after "giving" them $13 more per week is just more proof that he is either dishonest about his interest in helping blue collar workers or he doesn't have a fucking clue. Working people don't have a chance in this country any more.

14. $13 per week is what I understood it to be.
Prez Obama said workers should start getting approx $65 more on their paychecks beginning April 1st. That will help me with gas big time, given that I live paycheck to paycheck. Anything, not previously in my budget, helps.
