But the conservatives in the church I belong to would probably go screeching about it to the higher-ups in the church, how all us mean nasty Democrats had taken over the church.

Got turned on to him when I found the series about the crocodiles and the zebras, and I have been a huge (hugh?) fan since then. I even have a couple of his strips hanging up in my office on the bulletin board!

My favorite was the Christmas story...where the baby croc made his parents invite the zebras over for Christmas dinner, and one of the crocs tried to eat one of the zebras.
