Paul Krugman and Nouriel Roubini both on the This Week roundtable
Wow, very interesting stuff.

It's been good to see George Stephanopoulos getting some of these truly knowledgeable people on in the last few months, Krugman has become a regular, for example. Typically these roundtables are absolutely goofy with people like Cokie Roberts and Mark Halperin making everybody watching it dumber by proxy. George Will can't dominate the debate with these guys, and they use viable, intelligent arguments to make their points. It's nice listening to the pros talk about economic issues and not just people who have shallow opinions. Good stuff.

5. Right Now Schwartzenegger is On
He's saying it doesn't matter if you're a Republican or Dem in response to George's questions about his left wing thinking--pro choice, etc. Ahnold is saying it doesn't matter your politics--the people come first. Give me a break, Ahnold. People don't come first to Republicans. Money comes first.

6. That's what I just saw too. I thought the round table discussion was
at the end of the program. So, did I miss it or is it a time scheduling thing?

7. Do they usually put these on the internets after they're broadcast?
I don't have much patience for talking heads shows, but this looks like it's worth a watch.

9. I love watching Will get buried
the only other talking head I've seen bury him totally is Karen van Whatis...leaves him looking like he's sucking on a lemon *every* time

Krugman and Roubini were great, as always. Left me with a bit of hope.

Also Ahnold was all over praising the stimulus and President Obama...very strong and convincing. I'd like to believe he's sincere about public service and being there for "the people." But part of me keeps thinking it's at least as much about self-preservation.

10. I like how Will makes a point
and everybody else is nodding etc, and then almost every time Krugman will say something about disagreeing and go out and rattle off some argument that makes you think: "Ok, that's the difference between and expert and a pundit." lol

I can see why people voted for Arnold today. For the first time I got it. I never would have, but I can see why he's had electoral successes. I'd like to think Maria has some influence on him. :)
