* is still wearing that stupid fucking jacket

Former President George W. Bush visited Elliott's Hardware on Maple Avenue in Dallas on Saturday, signed autographs and posed for photos with employees.

6. Actually that reminds me so much of...certain people in my HS in their FFA jackets.

It was a daily battle to surpress the urge to slap these people back to a sense of dignity.

19. LOL - My sister had one of those jackets
It had patches all over it and her name embroidered over her right boob. She wouldn't wear the silly thing anywhere near actual farm animals because she might get it dirty.

10. Down at the bottom of the article is the best part
It says a Boy Scout troop was in the area (of the store or of his house, it did not say) picking up donations of food for a community service project. It says the Bushes posed for pictures with the Scouts (which will scar them for life, unfortunately), but no mention was made if Shrub or Pickles gave the Scouts any food for their project.

15. Poor little monstrosity needed a little TLC & attention after some reality set in.
And just in case anyone forgot that he's the former preznit, he wore a labeled jacket with his name on it.

20. Very transparent, isn't it. And so pathetic.
The fact that he wore that "official" jacket clearly shows his intention. If he had thrown on just anything, it would have looked more like a "I think I'll go to the hardware store to pick up some screws that'll fit" type of visit.

16. Notice they don't show any of the shoppers meeting him with open arms and smiles
The store is deep, deep, DEEP in the 'hood...so what we get is a pic of chimp surrounded by his security detail. No happy, excited customers greeting him, asking for hugs or autographs.

So while the pic looks real good around the country, great photo op..locals know better.
The place is a few blocks from where I work. Trust me, the community there wants nothing to do with his ass.

21. The jacket helps the local drunk tank authorities easily identify him...
when he's found sleeping in the gutter again.

I suspect that's been its sole purpose all along.
