question about donations

I donated, got email acknowledgment but was banned from posting in photog forum because I hadn't donated???

tried emailing DU staff but needed to know my IPS XYG, whatever it was. I don't know it so can't email.

what now? I can live without posting in photog but I'm curious about donation.

3. You don't have a donor star by your name. That's why you can't post in the Photography Group.

Maybe your donation wasn't recorded. Just PM or email your donation acknowledgment to one of the Admins and ask what's up.

6. What admin did you contact?

did they ask you for you IP number if so you can go here to get it. http://whatismyipaddress.com/ Or your Internet Service Provider? Either way, I'd just PM or email them again and let them know you're confused about what info they need and include a copy of the acknowledgment.

9. Question:

will this site come up with your IP address if you are using a proxy server? I am still trying to figure out why they asked for that information unless possibly the email sent from ensho didn't come from the e-mail address the donor receipt was sent to, i.e. the one ensho registered with.

And since I have no information about the correspondence I have no idea what or who asked for what. :shrug: That's why I think she should contact admin again asking for clarification of what exactly they need to figure it all out. :)

The star is good for a year.

Just e-mail [e-mail] if you think a star should be showing. The only additional information you need to include (apart from a copy of your donation receipt if you have it) is your username. It's ensho. That's it.

Don't understand the problem. I am no techno-whiz and I just went through it.

You don't have a donor star, so something must have gone wrong with your donation. Maybe you could email the admins a copy of your receipt.
