That's the analogy my brother used to describe where the country and our society are right now.

I thought it was a pretty good one and wanted to share it here.

3. We need to prune some rpigs, the corporations they used to rip us off
and the patriot act, the new FISA act and especially this "Last week's Organic Bytes featured an alert targeting the USDA on the pending National Animal Identification System (NAIS). Over 12,000 people have taken action, rejecting the NAIS program as a threat to family-scale and sustainable farms and ranches. Great job # Visit OCA's new NAIS campaign page, where you can read OCA's NAIS Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
# Weigh in on NAIS in OCA's web forum.
# Send a message to your Congresspersons and tell them to reject the NAIS and fund sustainable and organic alternative"
http://www.organicconsumers.org/articles/article_16883.cfm This is a new heinous 'oversight' that will require every farmer who has even a chicken to file and register every animal from dogs on up and require paper work that would equal doing long form tax returns EVERYDAY for EVERY ANIMAL we own. In essence killing organic farming and even sustainence farming in your back yard so that we will be even further under the heel of Corporate (monsanto being the main one) control.

7. I agree. Some analogies work, but it isn't that simple.
