Mexican drug dealers support my local economy
I live fairly close to the border. When I go to the mall or Wal-Mart (sorry), the parking lot is filled with big, new SUVs like Ford Expeditons, GMC Yukons and Suburbans etc with Sonoran plates. Inside the store, their wives buy lots of new stuff and always pay in cash. I know the economy down there is pretty shaky and to me there is no other explanation for the wealth except drugs. This area is a corridor for pot smuggling. Unfortunately for us local smokers, most of the weed goes north to Tucson or Phoenix. But at least a lot of the profits get spent in my town. Oh yeah, legalize it!
